  • Your Experience at Ivory + Onyx
    Please arrive at least 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment to ensure a smooth and relaxed start. To help us preserve the tranquil atmosphere at Ivory + Onyx, we kindly ask that you speak softly and silence your cell phone during your visit. Our goal is to create a peaceful, memorable experience for every guest.

  • Before Your Appointment

    To ensure the best results and your safety:

    • Arrive with clean skin – No makeup, oils, or creams around the eye or brow area.

    • Avoid caffeine – Excessive caffeine can cause fluttering or twitching during lash services.

    • No lash curlers or waterproof mascara – Especially 24 hours prior.

    • Avoid retinol or exfoliants – Refrain from using retinoids, AHAs, BHAs, or strong skincare products near the treatment area for at least 48 hours before your appointment.

    • Plan ahead for waxing or tinting – Let us know if you’ve had any recent skin treatments like chemical peels or laser, as your skin may be more sensitive.

    After Your Appointment

    To protect your results and maintain healthy lashes and brows:

    • Avoid water and steam for 24 hours – No swimming, saunas, or steamy showers right away.

    • Skip heavy products – Keep the treated area free of makeup, oils, or creams for at least a day.

    • Avoid rubbing or touching – Be gentle when cleansing your face; no tugging or scrubbing.

    • Delay workouts – Excess sweating can affect how products set or how skin reacts post-waxing.

    • Use a nourishing serum – Ask your provider about recommended serums for lash and brow health.

    • Book your next visit – For optimal results, we recommend maintaining a regular schedule based on your specific treatment (e.g., every 4–6 weeks for tints/lifts/waxing).

  • Our Head Spa experience is deeply relaxing and focused on scalp health, detoxification, and stress relief. Please note the following aftercare details:

    • You will leave with damp hair. A soothing cleanse, scalp treatment, and massage are part of every service, and we allow the treatment to naturally finish without styling unless otherwise requested. We do offer a private room equipped with a blow dryer following your appointment if needed.

    • Upgrade your head spa and schedule our blowout+style service immediately following your head spa experience.

  • Before Your Facial

    To ensure the best experience and results:

    • Avoid exfoliating products (AHAs, BHAs, retinol) for at least 48 hours before your treatment.

    • Discontinue use of harsh acne treatments (benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid) 2–3 days before your appointment unless otherwise directed by your esthetician.

    • Limit sun exposure and avoid tanning beds at least 5 days prior.

    • Hydrate well and drink plenty of water leading up to your appointment.

    • Avoid waxing or threading on the face for at least 48 hours before your facial.

    • Arrive with a clean face if possible, though we will cleanse the skin as part of your treatment.

    After Your Facial

    To protect your skin and extend the benefits of your facial:

    • Avoid direct sun exposure and always apply SPF if going outside.

    • Skip makeup for the rest of the day to let your skin breathe and recover.

    • Avoid heavy sweating (workouts, saunas, hot tubs) for 24 hours.

    • Postpone exfoliating for at least 72 hours following your facial.

    • Use gentle, hydrating skincare for the next few days—no active ingredients unless recommended.

    • Don’t pick or touch any areas that were treated—this can lead to irritation or breakouts.

    • Follow your esthetician’s home care advice to keep your skin glowing between visits.

  • At IVORY & ONYX, we appreciate the value of your time and strive to provide exceptional service to all our clients. To ensure that we can accommodate everyone efficiently, we kindly request that you respect our cancellation policy.

    When booking your service, a credit card will be required to secure your reservation. We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, and we appreciate your prompt communication in such situations.

    Cancellation Terms:

    • If you need to cancel or reschedule, please do so at least 48 hours before your appointment.

    • Cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance will be subject to a 50% charge of the scheduled service.

    • all no-show appointments will be charged 100% of the service scheduled.

    We understand that emergencies happen, and we are happy to consider individual cases. However, consistent adherence to our cancellation policy allows us to serve all our clients efficiently.

  • We want you to love your purchase.
    If you're not completely satisfied with a retail item, returns are accepted within 7 days of purchase. The return value can be exchanged for another product or issued as Ivory + Onyx credit, which may be applied toward any product or service.
